After the huge success of Hindi Music album “DOSTHI” which gained a fame to be the first band to produce a Hindi album in costal karnataka, Band charitra is back once again with a new Music album “CHINTHNAM” in their mother tongue konkani.

Chinthnam - the new thoughts is a unique Konkani music album by a desi rock band “charitra” from the coastal karnataka mangaluru, consisting of 9 variety of songs with different genres of desi rock style.

The music of this album is composed by band charitra using minimal setup ( Limited Instruments ) so that these songs could be played by any other bands in live shows.

This album contains a new rendition of 4 songs from their very first album which was also Named as “CHINTHNAM” which was released in the year 2008.

The Music has been arranged by band Charitra members - Loy Valentine Saldanha ( Keys ) , Patson Pereira ( Guitars ) , Ian Sachin Saldanha ( Drums ), Rikith Leonard Soans ( Drums & Percussions ). The lyrics for this album has been written by Melwyn Antony D?souza, Ralph Paul D?souza & Loy Valentine Saldanha. Apart from the band members this album also Features Vocalist like Munita Veigas Rao, Patrick Pereira, Wilma Pereira and Shainy D?souza.
