Thumbay Hospital Enters the Guinness Book of World Records

Thumbay Hospital, the leading network of academic hospitals of Gulf Medical University, Ajman owned and operated by Thumbay Group has entered the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the largest online photo album of people holding a sign.

 

The certificate was presented to Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of the healthcare division of Thumbay Group by Ms. HodaKhachab, Records Manager – MENA, Guinness World Records at a the annual Healthy Baby Contest held at Thumbay Hospital - Dubai, on Friday, 24th February 2017, in the presence of Thumbay Group’s Founder President Mr. Thumbay Moideen, and Bollywood celebrity KarismaKapoor, the chief guest of the event.

Thumbay Group achieved the unique feat of creating the largest online photo of more than 33,000 people holding a sign saying “Be Happy, Be Healthy” signifying Thumbay Group’s unique ‘happiness hours’ initiative across its different businesses, including free consultations & tests at the Thumbay network of academic hospitals and clinics every Tuesday between 4pm to 5pm, from 1st January 2017 to December 31st 2017.

Expressing his happiness at the achievement, Mr. Thumbay Moideen said, “We are glad that our initiative to spread happiness and cheer in the country has also found a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records. Thumbay Group is committed to utilize every opportunity to serve the community, and to promote happy and healthy lifestyles.” Congratulating the team for the accomplishment, Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay invited the public to make the most of the happiness initiative at Thumbay hospitals and clinics.
