All India U-15 Football from Sept 12 in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The All India Under-15 (5-a-side) football tournament is set to take place at the Kanteerava Stadium on Sept.12 & 13 starting at 8 am.

There are 64 teams taking part in the tournament organized by Denz Foundation. A total prize money of Rs.1 lac for the top four teams is up for grabs apart from beautiful trophies and individual awards for the best performers. Karnataka Sports Minister, Shri K. Abhayachandra Jain is expected to give away the trophies to the winners at the end of the finals which will take place on Sept.13 (Sunday) around 2.30 pm. Some of the top young footballers of the country will be seen in action in the tournament which is being held for the second year in a row.

There are at least 32 teams from Karnataka apart from other teams from other states. Schools, academies and clubs are entering their under 15 teams in the tournament.Entry for spectators is free for the tournament and students are encouraged to come and support the teams.
