Pakistan beat Bangladesh, win Test series 1-0

Published On : 09 May 2015

Mirpur, May 9, 2015, (IANS): Bangladesh crumbled facing a near impossible run chase in the second and final cricket Test to leave Pakistan with their only win in the month-long tour as they comprehensively beat the hosts by 328 runs here on Saturday.

Pakistan thus won the Test series 1-0 after losing the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series and the lone Twenty20 International, reports bdnews24.com.

Chasing a colossal 550 to win on the fourth day, Bangladesh put up an appalling show with the bat and folded for a paltry 221 in their second innings at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
