United Singhs thrash Yo Yo Tigers in WKL

Bhatinda, Sep 16: The United Singhs thrashed Yo Yo Tigers 67-35 in the Wave World Kabaddi League (WKL) at Rajindra College Hockey Stadium here Monday.

The 32-point margin of defeat for the Tigers is the highest in the league.

The opening quarter witnessed the United Singhs make five successful raids while skipper Sandeep Singh Sandhu made two successful stops.

By the end of the first quarter, United Singhs had opened a 10-point gap, leading 18-8.

Yo Yo Tigers were much better in the second quarter but failed to really cut the points difference down.

United Singhs managed to increase the lead to 13 points with the scores at the end of the second quarter being 32-19.

An exceptional performance by both the raiders and stoppers saw United Singhs widen the lead to 22 points by the end of third quarter.

Things only got worse for the Tigers and they failed to stop United Singhs raiders from making merry.
