Bhatkal: A lady patient from Marukiri in Bhatkal taluk was found with a 15 kg tumour occupying the lower abdomen and extending upto the heart. She was successfully operated by Dr Manjunath Shetty.
The lady had been suffering from stomach ache for the last seven to eight years.When the pain became more severe,she came to the Bhatkal government hospital.
The operation revealed a 15 kg fleshy tumour piece.The woman is healthy and safe despite the danger she was in.
Dr Manjunath Shetty is a senior surgeon of Bhatkal government hospital and very experienced.He has done more than 200 successful operations in his service.
