Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a 29-year-old died after his motor bike hit the road divider at Kokkarkal near Mulki in the taluk on national highway 66 on Sunday November 15 afternoon. The bike rider has been identified as Prasad Kumar (29), son of Narayana Devadiga from Padubidri.
Prasad Kumar was going to Padubidri from the city, when his vehicle hit the road divider. He was critically injured. He died when he was being moved to a hospital. He used to work for a showroom run by a private concern at Manipal.
A case has been registered in Suratkal traffic police station.
