Puttur: A person involved in the construction of a roof out of roofing sheets slipped from the sheet and died instantly. This incident happened at Nelyady near Uppinangady.
The deceased is Padmanabha Devadiga (36), son of Muddu Devadiga, a native of Haleangady. He was building a tin roof in the rubber factory of a person from Nelyady named Verghese. In the process, he slipped down and lost his life. A complaint has been filed at Uppinangady police station.
