Mangaluru: A 30-year-old man from Deralakatte had a lucky escape when he was saved from drowning in the sea in Someshwar on Wednesday.
According to eye-witness accounts, Satish was standing on a rock at Rudrapada on the Someshwar beach. He slipped and fell into the waters. Life guard Ashok and country boat operator Shyam saw Satish struggling in the waters.
They swam towards him and brought him out. Satish was given artificial breathing to revive him.
