AMUCT want ‘Demands Day’ on July 14

Mangaluru: Association of Mangalore University College Teachers in its 4th Managing Council Meeting held on June 18, 2016 has decided to observe ‘Demand Day’ on July 14 as directed by AIFUCTO (All India Federation of University and College Teachers Organisation); the day will be observed throughout the country.

The members of AMUCT have decided to wear black badges and attend regular duties in their respective colleges in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu districts. They will also sign and submit a memorandum to the UGC Chairman.

The demands include early report of the Pay Review Committee, complete scraping of API, rollback of the CBCS and Central University Bill, UGC pay scales for all categories of teachers and pension for all teachers.
