Sullia: In a tragic incident, a 55-year-old person died in an accident involving a goods truck and two-wheeler near Talur on Jalsoor Subrahmanya road. The victim is Somanathan (55) from Kerala.
Somanathan was headed for Talur from Elimale on Jalsoor-Subrahmanya road on Thursday evening on his scooter when a goods truck that was moving towards the town from the direction of Guthigar hit his vehicle. Somanathan suffered serious injuries in this accident.
The injured man died in an ambulance taking him to the hospital in town. He is survived by three daughters and two sons, one of who is a soldier. A case about the accident was registered at Subrahmanya police station.
