Tulu film "Appe Teacher" has collected nearly 2 crores until now. Thne comedy film which released on March 23 is a big hit in Coastalwood in recent years. The film is being screened at Jyothi, Big Cinemas, PVR, INOX multiplexes and also in theatres at Beltangady, Puttur, Karkala, Sullia, Udupi, Moodbidiri and Karkala. The film recently released in theatres at Koppa and Madikeri. There are requests for screening in Bengaluru, Mumbai and overseas.
Sunil and Niriksha Shetty play the lead in the movie, while Usha Bhandary, Devdas Kaapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Sathish Bandale, Sandeep Shetty, and Shailashree are playing prominent roles in the movie. The film has been produced under the banner of Swayam Prabha movies and entertainment.
The success of the film has given hopes for other films in Coastalwood, which are scheduled to release in summer.
