Mangaluru: In yet another incident of road rage in Mangaluru, the driver of a Bengaluru-Mangaluru KSRTC bus had to be hospitalised after he sustained injuries following an assault by autorickshaw drivers who park their vehicles in the auto stand near Dr Ambedkar Circle in the city on October 21 Wednesday night.
The autorickshaw drivers were angry when the bus which had just arrived from Bengaluru had halted in front of the auto stand. The drivers picked up a quarrel with the bus driver and reportedly assaulted him. It is said even a two-wheeler rider who was behind the bus joined in to attack the driver.
