Belthangady police nab ganja peddlers

Mangaluru: Belthangady police today conducted a raid against Ganja peddlers, resulting in the arrest of two suspects in the case. After receiving credible information according to a communiqué issued by the office of the Superintendent of Police, DK. District.

The two arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Thoshib (21) and Sinan (22), both belonging to Kajoor village of Belthangady taluk. About six kilograms of Ganja were recovered from the suspects.

A Maruti 800 car being used by them was also seized. The total value of the seized items including the car is said to be about Rs. 2 lakh. A case has been registered in Belthangady police station.
