Beltangady: A bicycle rider was killed after a KSRTC bus knocked him down. The incident occurred at Aramalebetta in Guruvayanakere on Wednesday August 24.
Sylvester Veigas (67), resident of Kalyara in Mundur village was killed in this accident. Veigas was on his way home to Mundur from Guruvayanakere when the killer bus that was going to Gokarna from Dharmasthala hit his vehicle from behind.
Veigas was seriously injured in this accident. He was admitted into the taluk government hospital here. But he could not be saved.
