Moodbidri: The rider of a motor bike lost his life in an accident which occurred at Gandhinagar . The accident had happened due to collision between a motor bike and a car on Sunday December 4 afternoon.
The ill-fated youth has been identified as Dhananjay (22), son of Chandrahas, residing near the Puttige welcome arch. Dhananjay was returning home after visiting the town. It is said that he was trying to overtake a car when he saw that another car was approaching from opposite direction. He suddenly swerved his vehicle to the left, as a result of which his vehicle came in contact with the other car. Because of the friction, he fell to the road and suffered serious injuries.
Although Dhananjay was taken to hospital immediately, he breathed his last before reaching the hospital because of the seriousness of his injuries, it is gathered. Dhananjay, who was a native of Sagar in Shivamogga district, worked as a coolie in this area.
