Mangaluru: The city crime branch (CCB) police on Saturda raided a gambling den at Mucchilakodi, Konaje here and arrested 12 persons.
The arrested are Ganesh (38), Tilak (28), Prasad (38), Jayaraj (27), Jayaraj (26), Lokesh (32), Keshava (27), Drahasadas (26), Naveen Kumar (26), Rohit (27), Ranjit (29) and Sharat Raj (25). All are residents of Konaje.
The police also seized Rs 22,485 in cash and playing cards from the accused. The accused as well as the seized items have been handed over to Konaje police for further investigation.
