Mangaluru: A car caught fire accidentally near the Ambedkar Circle on Thursday. Luckily no one was injured. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
There was also a leakage in the car’s petrol tank. The front portion of the car was completely gutted in the mishap.
Fire service personnel who rushed to the spot, put out the fire. The car belonged to Bendorewell resident Oliver Mascarenhas.
