Mangaluru: Hosabettu ward Corporator Pratibha Kulai has said that she would be filing defamation suit against Union Minister Ravishanker Prasad, State BJP Chief B S Yeddyurappa and Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje for misusing her photo in the party’s charge sheet against the State Government.
Speaking to reporters here o, Pratibha said a party which was so irresponsible should not be elected. She also stated that she would decide on the amount to be demanded as damages after consulting her lawyer.
To a question if the party has apologized for wrongly using her photograph, Pratibha replied in the negative. Pratibha had earlier lodged a complaint with City Police Commissioner on the issue of the BJP misusing her photo.
