One 'Premium' brand speaker/woofer was brought by the said passenger who arrived by Air India Express flight IX384 from Dubai on November 3. The passenger, whose name has not been revealed, was detained by the customs for further investigation.

The speaker under detention was subject to detailed examination on Saturday November 7, and gold in the form of a small cylindrical rod, which was ingeniously concealed in the inner core portion of the speaker, was retrieved with the help of technically qualified persons.
