Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada has topped the state in the II PUC examination results announced on April 30 with a total pass percentage of 91.9. PUC Board Director C Shikha announced the results. Udupi district secured the second spot with a pass percentage of 90.67 and Kodagu stood third with 83.94 %.
The overall pass percentage of 59.56. As usual girls have outshined boys. As many as 6,85,713 students appeared for the exams of which 4,08,421 students have passed.
A total of 68 colleges bagged 100 % results while 118 colleges had zero pass percentage. The pass percentage in science, arts and commerce streams was 67.48%, 45.13% and 63.64% respectively.
