Kasargod: Excise police from Kumble arrested 45-year-old for possessing ganja on Wednesday. The arrested has been identified as Achchu alias Ashraf from Manjeshwar.
Excise inspector, Robin Babu, acting on reliable information he got, went to the spot along with some personnel and took Ashraf into custody. During verification, 880 grams of ganja was found with Ashraf.
The excise police said that Ashraf had been held earlier also for possessing ganja and he faces cases relating to ganja trafficking registered against him earlier. In the raid, Robin Babu was accompanied by assistant excise inspector, Baburaj, civil excise officer, Prajith Kumar and some others.
