Mangaluru: A gas-laden tanker went out of its driver’s control and rammed into an electric pole next to a filling station near BASF off Suratkal in the early hours of Saturday. It then rolled over with two on board getting injured.
It could have turned into a terrible tragedy as it happened near the filling station. Fortunately, the damage was only to the vehicle and the electric pole.
The police from Suratkal, fire-tenders and traffic personnel rushed to the spot at once and prevented further damage.
