Mangaluru: Chief Minister designate H D Kumaraswamy has said that there is no scope of any malpractices in the name of water diversion Project.
Kumaraswamy said so with reference to the controversial Yettinahole project and the concern of the coastal people regarding the project. He was speaking to media men after visiting the Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara shrine on Tuesday.
Kumaraswamy also clarified that there was no confusion over the issue of the cabinet formation as reported in some sections of the media and added that the issue was yet to be discussed. Kumaraswamy assured a stable government for the next five years. He also promised welfare programmes and also not to impose additional taxes.
On frequent communal tensions in the district, Kumaraswamy said the youth must concentrate on their future life rather than such issues.
