Head constable dies of cardiac arrest

Udupi:A police head constable in Hiriyadka police station in the taluk, breathed his last due to cardiac arrest on the night of Thursday.

The deceased is Narasimha Bhandarkar (55). He was returning home by a bus at around 9.30 pm. He suddenly complained of severe chest pain. Arrangements were immediately made to take him to a private hospital here. Then he shifted to Kasturba Medical College Hospital at Manipal.


However, the doctors there declared him brought dead. Narasimha Bhandarkar survived by wife, a son, and a daughter.
