Udupi: Many tourists who come from other places say that auto drivers in Udupi are the best. This was again proved by Krishnappa (65) from Doddannagudde, Udupi. A woman who had left her bag in an auto rickshaw that contained gold ornament worth lakhs of rupees was return back by the honest driver in Udupi city on Tuesday September 9. The woman had forgotten the bag in the auto as she got down in a hurry.
After dropping the woman the driver Krishnappa returned back to Doddannagudde and then he observed that the bag is left in his auto. He found there were gold jewelleries and also documents that were to be submitted to court on the same day.
When he searched in the bag he found a mobile number. He called the number and fortunately the number was belonging to that woman. Immediately Krishnappa came to the place where the woman was and returned her the bag.
Hats off to Krishnappa. He is a real inspiration to everyone.
