Kundapur: The residence of Rajeev Kulal, president of Madamakki gram panchayat was stoned. This si the second time it is happening in last few days. Kulal filed complaint about this incident in Amasebail police station
Kulal recently deserted BJP and joined Congress party. After Kulal announced his decision to change his loyalties to Congress from BJP, apparently peeved over the ticket given by the party to sitting MLA, Halady Srinivas Shetty, miscreants had thrown stones at his house on May 7. In the complaint, Kulal said that on the night of polling, stones had been thrown again at his house.
Congress candidate from this constituency, Rakesh Malli, also visited the police station and urged the police to take appropriate action against the miscreants behind this incident.
