Bantwal: One person was arrested in a raid on an illegal slaughter house at Maripalla near Pudu following a tip of. Police have also seized nearly 72 kg of beef and other implements found at the place.
The arrested person is Basheer (45) from Maripalla. It has been gathered that he was operating the illegal butchery near his house since some time.
Even though there were several complaints against him, no action was taken. However at last action was taken by police.
