Bantwal: Police personnel raided a spot after getting information that an illegal slaughterhouse was functioning there, on Thursday . During the raid, a cow was confiscated and six persons were arrested.
The incident happened at Tippu Nagara near Loretto here. The arrested persons have been identified as Adam, Ahmed Bava, Muhammed Mustafa, Nasir Hussain, Nasir and Latif.
The police had been tipped about illegal slaughtering of cows in the house of Adam at Tippu Nagara. A case relating to this incident stands filed in the police station.
