Mangaluru: Senior Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary addressed a press meet at the party’s election office at Kadri on Wednesday. He openly lashed out at party leaders including DCC Chief Harish Kumar and KPCC General Secretary U B Venkatesh who exited the press meet venue half way through.
In his usual style Poojary went on to say that the Congress would be destroyed if the BJP leaders opened their mouth about former minister Chidambaram. The senior leader was apparently taking a dig at the two leaders for leaving the press meet in all probability to be with P Chidambaram who is in the city.
"I know about Chidambaram, You people are only interested in pleasing such leaders. Did I come here because I have no work?," Poojary lambasted the two leaders.
Meanwhile he also said that Congress will win all sets in Dakshin Kannada constituency. He said that he will never support BJP and the news of him supporting BJP is just a rumour.
