Mangalur: Expelled former Congress man Harikrishna Bantwal, who is now in BJP invited the ire of journalists at a press meet held on Monday over the issue of the former repeatedly taking up the issue of alleged insult of senior leader Janardhana Poojary by DK District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai.
When scribes wanted to know what was prompting Harikrishna to repeatedly raise the issue, the latter literally was taken aback and had no answers. Scribes also wanted to know why he was raising the issue now that he was in the BJP, while he was silent on the matter when he was in the Congress.
A heated exchange of words ensued between journalists and Harikrishna Bantwal.
