Udupi: T S Aboobakker of Kadiyali passed away at his residence at Kadiyali on Friday. Aboobakker got the name of Traffic Sahebru, thanks to his act of great kindness and compassion in helping students of Kadiyali school to cross the road during peak hours in the morning and evening when the Kadiyali-Kalsanka road was narrow.
Aboobakker had also been felicitated by several organisations for his kind act. The Police Department had even entrusted him with the special authority to regulate traffic in Kadiyali Junction. Aboobakker was ailing since some time.
