Mangaluru: 60 solar lamps were installed by Karnataka Bank at Kadri Park in Mangaluru under its Corporate Social Responsibility programme . on August 16, Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayaram Bhat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank said "Kadri Park is one of the important place of Mangaluru with many people coming here to enjoy a peaceful stroll. It is the duty of everyone to ensure cleanliness of such places and make good use of the facilities provided here."
JR Lobo, MLA of Mangaluru South appreciated the kind gesture of Karnataka Bank in providing solar lamps to the park.
Ivan D’Souza, MLC, P I Sreevidya, ZP CEO, Mahabaleshwar MS, Chief General Manager, Yogish, Deputy Director of Department of Horticulture, Nagaraj R Hebbar, Assistant General Manager of Man Regional Officer and several bank officials and staff were present.
