Udupi: Kaup Vidyaniketan First grade college students who had held NSS camp at Kaup Kanchan auditorium have become a model for others by conducting a camp fire programme in a unique way. The students who drew the map of India in a Rangoli, lit small oil lamps called Hanathe deepa around the map to start the new year.
The students are looking for something new as per the aspirations of the founder under the guidance of K P Acharya, convener of Kaup Vidyaniketan group of institutes. The unique camp fire style was appreciated by many people.
Camp participants Shwetha and assistant officer Sandeep Kumar helped in the leadership of unit leaders Ashwath and Sumayya. Vidyaniketan first grade college principal professor V K Udyavar provided guidance.
