Karkala: A lorry over turned on the road on Monday in Belman. The incident took place in broad day light in Peral Pade near Belman St. Joseph Church. As there has been rain showers in this area the wet road could also be the cause for this mishap.
The lorry was going without any load, but as the driver lost control, the lorry overturned and slid in the soft wet soil at slope next to the road.
Fortunately the lorry driver and cleaner have escaped with minor injuries.
