Mandya (TOI): A 35-year-old person threatened to commit suicide by jumping from a mobile tower following a quarrel with his mother.
The incident happened in Kodiyala village of Srirangapatana taluk on Thursday.
Mahadev alleged that he was thrown out of his house by his mother, Gowramma. He demanded an assurance from village elders and police officers that he could return to his house and live there without being ill-treated by Gowramma.
The mother, who was present, accused her son of telling lies.
