Mangaluru: Manjunath Shetty has taken over as assistant commissioner of police (ACP) – traffic on Wednesday. ACP K Tilak Chandra, who was the chief of traffic till now, has been transferred to Chikkamagaluru.
Manjunath was earlier sub-inspector at Subramanya, Uppinangadi and Bantwal, circle inspector, traffic Kadri and circle inspector, Bunder. He also worked at immigration at Mangaluru airport.
Later he was transferred as circle inspector Kundapur and subsequently as DSP in Shivamogga before taking over the present post.tion
