Mangaluru: District-in-charge minister Ramanath Rai inspected the work of town hall here on September 16. The town hall has become a bone of contention due to delay in works.
Speaking at the occasion, Rai said "The work of town hall was pending from a long time. But now tender has been divided into four and given to different contractors. Presenly the work is going on at a high pace. It is expected to be complete by the end of October."
Mayor Jecintha Alfred, deputy mayor Purushotham, Corporators Shashidar Hegde, Deepak poojary, Mahabala Maarla and others were present at the occasion.
