"We doubt that powerful people have killed her after raping her and thrown her body on the side of the road. Hope we will surely get justice,” said the father of Sowjanya, Chandappa Gowda in a press meet held at the Press club Urwa he on February 14.
Chandappa Gowda further said, “There were attempts to close the case. The CBI also failed to investigate the case and were unable to arrest any of the accused. Now the special CBI court has ordered a re-investigation of the case. The lie detector test should be done on all the suspected accused in the Sowjanya murder case. We are sure of getting justice this time”.
