Mangaluru: While on duty round, police reached the curve of Tippu Sultan nagar, Mangaluru, Mohammed Naupal (30), a resident of Kudroli, Mangaluru who was standing holding a plastic bag tried to run away from the police after he saw the police jeep.
The police stopped him, questioned and checked his bag. They found ganja packed in small packets in the bag. The suspect confessed that he brought the ganja for sale.
Police recovered Rs 5,600 worth ganja weighing 245 grams from the suspect.
