Mangaluru: The public office of Vedavyasa Kamath, MLA of Mangaluru South, was inaugurated at Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) building on Wednesday. Vaman Kamath and Taravi Kamath, parents of Vedavyas inaugurated the office by lighting the lamp.
Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mangaluru North MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty, Zilla Panchayat president Meenakshi Shanthigodu, vice-president Zilla Panchayat Kasturi Panja, Former Deputy Speaker Yogesh Bhat, Brijesh Chowta, Premananda Shetty, Harikrishna Bantwal, Anand Shetty, and other BJP leaders were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Vedavyas said, "Today onwards, I will serve the people from this office. It is open to all and people can visit here with their applications, memorandums or suggestions. I will try to meet everyone who visits my office. If I am out of the city or engaged with public programmes, my personal secretary and staff will take care of the people who visit my office."
