Mangaluru: Nitte Institute of Communication, constituent college of Nitte University welcomed the popular actor-director of the Sandalwood Industry, Rakshit Shetty on Tuesday at their Paneer campus in Deralakatte.

Speaking of Kannada Film Industry, the renowned actor stressed on how making parallel cinemas are a necessity to break the monotony of catering to a single audience.
When asked about his role model, Rakshit openly admitted how inspired he was with work of Late Mr. Shankar Nag, well known as actor, producer and director of various Kannada Films.
Answering to the questions about distribution of his recent flick, Kirik Party, Rakshit Shetty said that the people should come out from the traditional way of viewing films and accept the modern screening of movies.
