Residents of Agral of Punacha village to boycott assembly elections

Published On : 07 May 2018

Bantwal: Residents of Agral of Punacha village have vented their anger against the non-availability of basic infrastructure to their village and have planned to boycott the assembly elections.

They have displayed a poster which says 'Representatives of people, we do not ask you money. However, provide us with the most important basic infrastructure of a road. Make arrangements for water. Then come to us for seeking a vote'.

The construction of the road from Pariyalthadka, Punacha to Agral via Garadibailu is not accomplished. As there is an issue with the land acquisition the residents who are residing on the upper part of Agral are deprived of a road connection.
