Udupi: A senior citizen who prepared death note distributed its copies to a few known persons. He then consumed poison and ended his life on Saturday. The victim of this incident was Ratnakar alias Vasant Nairy (62).
In his death note, he has accused his younger sister of fraudulently getting the family property transferred in her name. He also mentioned names of three other persons whom he blamed for his death. After distributing copies of the death note to some persons, he ended his life.
Nairy's wife has filed a case in Brahmavar police station. Station house officer, Raghavendra, and circle inspector, Srikanth, have taken up investigation.
