Mangaluru: A serial accident involving five vehicles took place on NH 66 on Netravati Bridge on Friday. A car applied sudden brake in a bid to avoid hitting a parked lorry on the bridge. Other vehicles behind it rammed into one another, leading to a collision.
The traffic was affected for about 30 minutes. The five vehicles involved in accident suffered damages. There was no casualty.
Mangaluru South police arrived at the spot and cleared the traffic.
