Bagalkote: Former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah announced that he hasdecided to bid adieu to electoral politics. peaking at a public programme in Guledagudda town in Badami, Siddaramaiah said that he faced as many as 13 elections.
"I am 71-year-old. I will work for five years on whatever post I am holding and I will not contest elections anymore. I had also annoucned last year, that 2018 elections will be my last elections. I am MLA of Badami and want to work towards development of my constituency," he added.
He also conveyed Dasara wishes to the people of north Karnataka. With this announcemnet, rumours of him standing for elections in Lok Sabha has also come down.
