Sullia: The switch room of a mobile tower in Sullia town caught fire in the evening and a major fire accident was prevented by Sullia police and fire fighters. The exact reason for the incident is not known yet,
The tower is located on a multi storey building in the town and is owned by Indus Group. CIdea, Vodafone and Airtel were using the tower to provide their network services. Vehicular traffic on Mani-Mysuru national highway was blocked following the fire accident for hours.
The reason is not known yet. A case has been registered and investigation is going on.
