Ten students from NITK to visit Japan

Manglauru: Ten Master’s degree students from various departments of National Institute of Technology, Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, will visit Kumamoto University, Japan, under the ‘Japan Asia Youth Exchange Programme in Science’, also known as the ‘Sakura Exchange Programme in Science’ between February 1 and 8.

The students would have the opportunity to visit the top manufacturing companies in the field of shipbuilding and transport and study advanced technology and research at the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Kumamoto University. They would also be introduced to the Japanese language and culture.

The program for NITK students has jointly been coordinated by Shuichi Torii (Kumamoto University, Japan) and Katta Venkataramana (NITK Surathkal).
