Tulunadu Rakshna Vedike stage protest demanding basic amenities to ambulance drivers

Mangaluru: Tulunada Rakshana Vedike staged a protest in front of the Wenlock Hospital on Monday demanding provision of basic amenities to government as well as private ambulance drivers in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Yogish Shetty, Founder President of the Vedike said, "Though the ambulance drivers have been functioning round the clock, they do not have a proper shelter in front of the District Wenlock Hospital, nor lavatory and other basic facilities. We demanded suitable shelter for ambulances in front of the Wenlock Hospital. Drivers are one the one who saves lives. Thye should be trated well."

C S Radhika, owner of Cauvery Ambulance urged the district administration to take note of the problems of ambulance drivers and do the needful. M Siraj, Abdul Rasheed Jeppu, Prashanth Bhat Kadaba, Rakshith Bangera and other office bearers of the Vedike participated in the protest.
