Bantwal: Two young men got washed away while swimming in the Netravati river at Thumbay. The people who were washed away were identified as Sawad (30), son of Thumbay resident Sulaiman, and Ramlan, son of Maripalla resident Ibrahim.
While the body of one of them has been found, search is on for the other man. A group of nine friends decided to go to Netravati River for a swim. However, Sawad and Ramlan got pulled in by the currents.
Bantwal rural police along with locals and expert swimmers are looking for the missing man.
